Austen is a great communicator and talked over every detail with us and gave us regular updates (in person and via text) as the work progressed. We live in a Fort Myers community and our home had older landscaping. Austen and his crew redid our landscaping from start to finish. We worked with Austen on the proposal contract and the price was very fair considering the amount of work. He got the proposal done on time so that we could submit it to our HOA A&E committee. He clearly explained his vision for our landscaping, driveway and walkway, and was very flexible in working with us to adjust the paver design and planting design, type and location. He has the machinery needed for big jobs like ours. He and his crew pulled out the old landscaping and rock, removed our concrete driveway and walkway and installed pavers (beautiful job!), re-graded the yard, upgraded the irrigation system, installed new plantings with mulch in the front and rock around the pool cage and installed a new lawn. When needed, Austin brought in experts when help was needed to upgrade the irrigation system and put in a new well pump. He and his crew made sure that everything worked prior to final payment and he walked us around to make sure we understood the irrigation system layout and operation. Thorstad Landscaping Solutions went above and beyond during the whole process, ending with a gift and handwritten thank you note.
